Gday Everyone, here I will be reporting what I did on day 1 as an author on this website. (Regarding the thumbnail, its not click bait, I legit could not fit the whole image) soz
TL;DR: Super easy to become an Author on this site, wrote 2 small articles which netted me a little less than a dollar.
I applied to become an author approximately 2 days ago and it was accepted super quick. I started by trying to write my experience with CRYPTO.COM as it is one of the platforms which I have used for a while and had some stuff which could be shared. The first one I wrote is about my personal opinion of Crypto.com and their card, the small article did pretty good for a first article (I think...). The second article I wrote was about tips on upgrading the Crypto.com card and mistakes which I made. The second article resulted in much less views, likely because it was too niche and too targeted to people who already had a card/ thought about upgrading the card or recently did upgrade their card.
From these two articles and reading others on the website, I found that it is better to be a little broad, have something in your article which a lot of people can either relate to or want to know. I personally think this article will be one of them. I think there are quite a lot of lurkers who are only reading the articles and not posting, but secretly want to know how much you could get by posting and the mechanism behind it (views etc).

I think most of you already know as well but there is a tipping system, I have used them but I don't think I have received them yet? I'm not sure because it hasn't specifically told me that I have been tipped or anything. But if you like this article go tip me! Also you can do multiple a day so to grow this community it would be super good to tip ones you really like! You can also change the percentage of what you get and what they get, up to 80% for yourself, so you should go ahead and reward yourself and the author.
Also regarding the shameless plug ins to join Crypto.com, no has joined and that is very much to be expected. Honestly even if I did get $25 myself by joining I would not use their referral code out of spite lol. Just wanted to let people know since I would be curious. There is also an ambassador program for this site, you get 5% of every tip they receive. I'm not sure if you take 5% of their total tip or if the website gives you an equivalent of 5%. If someone knows please tell me. I would put the link but stealing 5% is dog so unless the website provides it, I will not include it.
