Way back then - mining in the early days of bitcoin

Do repost and rate:

Once upon a time you could mine bitcoin with a device similar to a USB thumb stick like these, with any computer and just at home!

How about that?

Many Bitcoin OGs ("Old Gangstas") accumulated life-changing amounts of Bitcoin through them!

Don't you wish you'd been into or known bitcoin (and litecoin and dogecoin) then?

I sure do.

Next, there were devices like the Gridseed which were more powerful but still could be used in a regular home.

Next, the Bitmain Antminer era, which is really the start of the "industrial mining" era - large warehouses, solar power, thermal power, cold climate locations etc. And the chance to mine bitcoin at home became far less (too noisy, units too expensive, power draw too much for the average house, too much heat generation etc).*

*So can you mine at home now?

I'd say in a limited way - yes.

Try these platforms to mine on ANY computer.

They all have some referral sign up style bonuses for when you join and when you refer others.

You aren't actually directly mining Bitcoin, rather other coins like Monero or Ravencoin, which you can then convert to Bitcoin or Ethereum.

Try out all three and decide which you like best!
