Flooding the Art Market with Zombies

Do repost and rate:

Hey everyone, I'm Byron from Canada and I like to draw zombies. It is what I have been doing for a very long time and I've gotten pretty good at it. What I am not very good at is selling my artwork, so I'm on a mission to change that and I have started to post as many of my works as fast as I can. I'm using the platform Ko-fi to do this. Ko-fi is a patreon type platform where people can support the artists they like to get special perks or exclusive sneak peaks. They also provide a great place to blog, create a gallery of work and they offer a shopping cart so that artists can list digital or physical items.

I am trying to refocus my Ko-fi use and I'm currently concentrating on posting original artworks for sale. Let's take a look at a few samples of what I have on there currently:

This is a Derpy Cup of Coffee - a simple ink drawing that I really like. Drawn with ink on 4"x6" paper

Next up is another coffee cup ... only much darker and no derp.

I call it ... "When Coffee Is The Only Thing On Your Mind"

https://ko-fi.com/s/f5bcef8feb

Somewhere in the last 10 years I became addicted to drawing coffee cups with skulls, or in this case a skull face coffee cup. It is a mixed media painting on 4"x6" watercolour paper and is still one of my current favourite skull face coffee cups.

Changing gears now, here's my favourite Sea Turtle painting

https://ko-fi.com/s/631c18b7a2

This 3.5"x5" painting was made as a study for a sea turtle project that never actually happened. At least I managed to paint a cool little turtle head.

Now back to some cute with a bit of horror. This is one of my first ever Zombie Cat paintings that I made way back in 2012 and is quite possibly the CATalyst for many of the zombie cats that came afterwards.

I priced this one expensive because it means that much to me and I do honestly believe my work is worth it. I would also rather keep this little cutie than give it away. It's also the first among many and was a turning point in my artistic development.

Getting a little otherworldly with this Alien mixed media artwork that was created for no other reason than I felt like drawing an alien.

I like the whimsical vibes it gives off.

Sticking with the whimsical and throwing in a heaping of creepy, this Grinning Evil Death sketch painting has all sorts of wicked vibes. It's a small painting sketch on a 4"x6" paper but gives a huge feeling of happy horror.

I have also painted a lot of comic book characters over the years like this Ghostrider

I call it Flaming Skull to avoid some potential issues but we all know who it looks like.

This is my Pokemon homage called Seek n' Chew

It is another 4"x6" mixed media painting that I created in 2015.

Two last images before I end my post and the first one is a group of Red Jellyfish that I titled RED SMACK.

https://ko-fi.com/s/d052227169

This painting was originally made for a dude that wanted to get his girlfriend an original painting. She really liked Jelly Fish so he requested a commission. I painted two of them. One blue, and one red. He chose the blue one so you can choose the red one. It's also a bit bigger at 6"x9".

Lastly is this painting of Death. I attempted humour and used the Death from Neil Gaimens sandman series as the inspiration. Note the ahnk and hair style.

It's one of my larger paintings, measuring 8"x10" and looks quite stunning in real life.

So there you have it. A small sample of the art I am starting to post for sale in my online store. I am also open to commissions of all sorts. Take a look, buy a coffee, enjoy the art and take some home with you or commission yourself something unique and original.
