Billionaire Elon Musk, known for his cryptocurrency endorsements, has reiterated his holdings, which are limited to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin, while also revealing that he does not own Shiba Inu, one of the most popular meme tokens.
According to coinmarketcap, Shiba Inu hit a record high on October 24 and was up nearly 37 percent at the time of the revelation.
"I bought some ASCII hash strings called "Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Doge" out of curiosity." "That's all there is to it," Musk tweeted in response to users who inquired about his investment in meme tokens. "As I've previously stated, don't bet the farm on cryptocurrency!" True value comes from creating products and providing services to your fellow humans, not from money in any form," he added.
Musk stated in July at the B-Word conference, hosted by the Crypto Council for Innovation, that he personally owned some bitcoins, dogecoins, and ethereums. He also stated that he had held bitcoins for a long time.
He also explained why he is such a strong supporter of another meme token, Dogecoin. "Many of the people I spoke with on Tesla's production lines or while building rockets at SpaceX own Doge." They are not financial or Silicon Valley technologists. That's why I decided to back Doge—it felt like the crypto for the people," Musk said in a tweet.
