The crypto industry is about to finally land on traditional markets.

The first crypto-related company to be listed on Nasdaq will be Coinbase, the exchange founded in 2012 by Brian Armstrong and Fred Ehrsam.

According to a post published on Coinbase's official blog, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) declared the cryptocurrency exchange's S-1 registration effective for a public offering.

Regarding the COINBASE listing dates, Coinbase's Class A ordinary shares should be traded on the Nasdaq Global Select market under the "COIN" symbol on April 14th.
