With ETH still burdened by expensive fees, many crypto-users are looking for cheaper alternatives to conduct transactions.
In this article, I will talk about 7 different coins I have tried that have cheap or even zero fees.

I think cheap transactions are one of the key factors that will eventually lead to getting more users and adoption for everyday payments.
I still believe that cryptocoins can be used as a method of payment and not just as investment/trading tools.
Let's start with the list!
1) NANO
Thanks to its stunning DAG technology, NANO allows users to send and receive transactions with no fees!
Also, transactions on the NANO blockchain are processed instantly!
2) BANANO
Banano is a fork of NANO, just with a meme touch and worse tokenomics.
But since it is based on the same technology, you can perform transactions with no fees as well.
3) NOLLAR
Nollar is a new stablecoin that tries to disrupt the world economy completely. Since it is a stablecoin, people can get the same value as US$. But its technology allows users to send and receive transactions with no fees.
Basically, a true version of digital cash!
4) IOTA
This is a very controversial project.
Many don't even consider it a cryptocurrency, since IOTA does not rely on the blockchain. Also, it uses proprietary and not open-source technology.
By the way, I added IOTA to this list because it has zero fees.
5) EOS
There are no fees involved to perform a transaction on the EOS blockchain. However, keep in mind that you need a proper amount of RAM, a resource that needs to be purchased.
6) XRP
Another highly controversial coin. Many users here hate Ripple because of its centralized nature and its tokenomics.
But since Ripple's main goal was to facilitate cross-border payments between banks, it has quite low fees.
The current minimum transaction cost required by the network for a standard transaction is 0.00001 XRP. It increases in the case of multi-signature transactions.
7) ALGORAND
Algorand blockchain is known for its fast, almost-instant transactions.
Moreover, sending ALGO is very cheap as well. Also, Algorand's fee is fixed and predictable: 0.001 ALGO.
No difficult settings and no surprise.
