I was watching NFKRZ's video about russia banning cryptocurrencies and the comments were filled with "Based russia", "Finally I can buy a GPU", "All countries need to ban crypto because of environmental struggles", etc.
Those people don't know that proof of work is not the only cryptocurrency algorythm! Propaganda is really working and banks convinced people that all crypto are not eco friendly and that crypto is responsible for GPU prices (and totally not chip shortages, covid-19 and scalpers).
I feel more frustrated looking at those ignorant people than looking at current bear market. They harm crypto debates as much as NFT bros, by spamming the interwebs with fake news and their lack of knowledge!
We won't reach any adoption if we don't teach people that proof of stake and other non mining algorythms exist in the cryptocurrency world.
