I might not know that much about Cryptosoftware engineering, but I do know quite a bit about mechanical engineering and Efficiency = Profitability.

Somewhere out there one of you might be looking at a way to enhance your mining/masternode profits. I hope this information is of help to you.

If you start building or retrofitting miners/masternode servers based off the ideas in this article, I'd appreciate a nod of acknowledgement and maybe a small Consultation Fee.

First of all, this is going to get pretty involved, but I will try to keep it simple and straightforward for the benefit of you and myself--I tend to ramble when getting into tech details. I'd like to avoid that trap here.

As we all know Miners and Masternode servers put out a LOT of waste heat.

What if you capitalized on that?

1; Build Miners/retrofit them and Masternode servers with an Insulated Liquid-cooling system where the heat is channelled off the components (CPU's and such) and into a Thermal Reservoir; Using insulated coolant lines and Pelletier Modules (solid State heat pumps) you can force the heat out of the coolant and into an aerogel insulated block of brass.

2; Now, the heat is driven in from the bottom of the Thermal Reservoir block, with thermoelectric conversion chips at the top.

This brass Thermal Reservoir will get damned hot and quite quick, so it can keep the thermoelectric chips working at optimum efficiency; Rough-approximation of a derived average of 10 Watts output per square inch--and that was five years ago.

3; Alternatively, you can stack the converter chips atop the TR with Pelletier modules sandwiched between them, pumping heat through an insulated stack of converter chips say five conversion-chip layers high.

Each layer is being force-fed and force-cooled keeping operational efficiency very high.

 Not good enough?

Okay, make that block big enough to accomodate six chips per layer, or even 10..

 10 x 10 watts x 5 layers... 500 Watts, not too shabby, a 1/2 Kilowatt in recovered energy.

Granted, it will NOT allow self-powered Miners and Servers, but that energy re-directed back into their operation WILL offset outside/external power requirements.

The less money spent on power to run them, the more profitable a Mining/Masternode endeavour is.

The system can also be built to allow very fine control of thermal values to keep the Serve/Miner high-temp components operating as close to perfectly within their Optimum thermal range, again, more efficiency.

NOTE; The Thermal Reservoir and Thermoelectric Stack would ONLY be aerogel insulated at the SIDES, as heat energy must come in from below and exit through the top vi a final-stage heatsink/cooler.
