I thought this one was way too good to pass up on writing about. Even got me out of my recent funk to some extent. This is probably one of the more interesting and fun ways to serve someone I have come across.
Who got served?
The influencer in question goes by the name Ben.Eth or @ben_eth on the burd app. And they have recently been caught in some controversy regarding the meem? token they were about to launch. The token in question is the Psyop, $PSYOP, token. For which they were able to raise a staggering $7 million in presale during a 72 hour window. Just mind-blowing to me. But I guess meme tokens are the new hotness. Everyone is looking for that 1 million x token.
But of course, Ben.eth did not take that, as these types of people rarely do. And he was fast up on his tweet machine and put the following response to the tweet by Mike Kanovitz: "This letter is so unprofessional it could get them in trouble with the bar association. $PSYOP galore out here.". Well fingers crossed it goes to court because one less scammer would be a good thing. At least in my book.
Getting caught up
If you think that this was all there where to this story, then my friend you are mistaken. So sit back, get some of those fluffy postcorns, and let's get you caught up. A few days back it was reported that Ben.eth last the devs for the token. Meaning it looked like there where not going to be a token. And the investors were going to be left with a bag full of nothing. Not even a useless meme token.
The dev even made a public statement addressing the whole situation on May 16th. And the dev even states that Ben.eth more or less intended to scam people. But out of the ashes of this failed meme token rises another meme token like a phoenix. I give you the F-Ben token. This was done in response to the apparent apathy Ben.eth was showing with the failure to deliver a token when the dev left. It was done to show just how easy it is to put up a token. And I have to say it is probably my favorite mem token, at least my favorite I have seen so far.
And the new token, and yes it stands for Fukben, even has its own website up and running. I have to say it is amazing what people on the internet can do with a little ingenuity and some elbow agrees. And as a testament to what the person's work ethic also has produced. On the website, link below, are two games you can play. I will leave just what those games are for you to find out on your own.
I guess all of this finally where able to kickstart Ben.eth and there apparently now exists a $PSYOP token. And people have been airdropped some of the tokens owed. My nonqualified guess is that he got pretty cold feet very fast when faced with the reality of trying to scam people actually might have a consequence. I am basing that on the fact that it was the very next day after getting served as the tokens were starting to go out. But then again there is a very possible chance this will go to court despite the shit coins being sent out.
As eluded to by Mike Kanovitz in the tweet and the settlement demand they are going for the refund option. And there also have been some questions regarding the liquidity pools for $PSYOP. On top of all the other juicy goodness. If nothing else I am assuming the shit coin will drop to 0 faster than a ship can drop anchor.
I hope that you have stayed well away from the meme token nonsense that has been all around as of late. And yes I call them tokens and not coins. Or that you at most do what I am doing, using them to provide entertainment for people, aka more good than they ever will do in any other case.
