I'm Kicking Myself for Not Writing on Read.cash Earlier

Since the beginning of this year, I've been writing articles on PUBLISH0X on various topics from politics to anime to cryptocurrency. I really like the tipping system; writing articles is very seamless; and the overall community is pleasant. It has been a fun ride and I'm surprised that I managed to get 90 followers.

Over the past few months, I have heard of another blogging site called Read.cash. In fact, here in Publish0x, I've seen a few articles that talk about READ.CASH and the authors would rave about the returns they received in Bitcoin Cash. Honestly, at that time, I didn't really pay that much mind to it, shrugged, and went about my business as usual. I was pretty happy with this place, so why would I bother?

Well, a few days ago, I checked out Read.cash out of curiosity and I was pretty impressed with the variety of content that the recommended page offered. Unlike Publish0x, which is mostly crypto-focused, but still very welcome to non-crypto topics, Read.cash seems to be more like a general blogging site. I went "Know what? Why the heck not?" and finally opened an account on Read.cash.

My Brief Experience with Read.cash

The first article I published was the one where I already talked about AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution on this site (Read.cash version). I didn't see much gaming content, so I thought a "safe" topic like FSR would be a good start. Unsurprisingly, I didn't get that many views (in fact, it's still single digits), but a few people were kind enough to tip me for a total of $0.07's worth of BCH.

Yesterday, I wanted to see how my politics-focused articles would be received. As a result, I published my thoughts on Trump's recent Ohio rally and his account on Rumble (Read.cash version). That post received a bit more views than my FSR article and someone tipped me $0.05's worth of BCH. No one came at me with hostile comments which is nice, though that's likely because I'm still a total newbie over there.

Closing Thoughts

Overall, I'm sort of kicking myself for not writing on Read.cash sooner. However, it's better late than never, as folks would always say.

The aesthetic of the website is simplistic, but still pleasing. The writing experience is overall nice, though honestly, it is not as good as Publish0x. The editing features are less diverse and flexible. For instance, I was unable to embed Tweets or Odysee videos. As a result, I had to make some compromises. That said, the limitations are more so nuisances than liabilities.

In addition, as I researched more into the platform, the more I was impressed with it. Apparently, I can boost my posts with as little as $0.01's worth of BCH to gain more exposure. The system strongly resembles to the boosting system on Minds, a platform that I also frequent.

I'll be continuing to publish content on Read.cash. It'll mostly be the same stuff as here, but if you want to follow me there, here's my page.
