Crypto donations - sharing income to help those in need

Do any of You remember my blog post about lent resolutions? If not that's not a problem, I will quickly explain my main point about that in a while

Well as always with such ambitious plans some went well, other not so much...

The crypto resolution

Even though Easter was already quite long ago I still didn't make planned summary of one most related to this site. This resolutions are a thing which is kinda meant to be set long ago already (as You know Lent resolutions are about The Lent which is time of preparation for Easter) but... well many things happen. But first things first.

The resolution I'm going to speak about was about contributing 40% of my profits done on crypto for charities, or other important causes which are worthy being supported. Till Paschal Triduum - which ends The Lent - My profits were about 300 euro. The exact amount depending on the precise moment of taking it but I decided to assume this to make things easier. It gives 120 euro for donation.

But I wasn't fully decided as to what I'm going to make these donations. Also, I wasn't fully wanting to realize the profits at that moment, so decided to leave it in exchange and take an appropriate amount from my savings, but it wasn't enough to cover all - until I get my first salary... and I still have a problem deciding what to donate, what eventually make my donations scattered in time, and I just recently decide what to do with the last part I have left to donate.

The donations

Eventually, I split my donation into 12 equal parts 10 euro each. But considering I make some of them in a native currency I just took the conversion rate of 4.5 PLN per 1 EUR. It wasn't accurate but sometimes I make 50 PLN instead to have a more convenient amount.

The donations were sent to different foundations, charities and public organisations which do things really worth supporting. Also, some of them were for specific people needing help.

Here is the full list of my donation:

  • For Rizwan Masih and the orphans, he is taking care of. He lives in an unfriendly Muslim environment, he's hated by society just because he's Christian despite the good thing he is doing. So he really needs help to make the life of all these children better. If You want to support him here are the data You'll need for money transfer:
Name: RizwanLast name:MasihCountry:PakistanAdress Line 1: Chak no 370 TariqabadCity:GojraPhone number: +923068484277

You can also find him on Facebook for more info.

  • For little Ola, who has neuroblastoma, and needs rehabilitation. It was one of the first donations and unfortunately, I didn't note down the link to the fundraising...
  • For Iza, who's alone mother who already lost 2 children, and her 3rd daughter, who is 7 years old is also very sick. Furthermore, Iza gets Endometriosis, a dangerous woman condition that is pretty expensive to cure. It's still about 7.500$ more need for the operation. The fundraising is on the Polish website Pomagam.pl(literally "I'm helping")
  • For little Joan May, who suffers from eye cancer, and needs chemo treatments and eye surgery, the fundraising is performed by facebook charity fanpage Jesus Daily.
  • For little Kyline, who was born with nonketotic hyperglycinemia, causing severe breathing difficulties, it's another fundraising from Jesus Daily.
  • For little Wiktor (or Victor written in a more English-friendly way) who need heart operation. It was fundraising on the Polish website SiePomaga.pl(literally "One does help each other"... or at least I think so) - fortunately now enough money was collected... or at least it seems so... I'm not sure there is actualization info (from a few months ago) about the situation change which make another 100k$ needed but the website is displaying info that all is already collected. I'm confused...
  • For Little Feet Fundations (original Polish name: Fundacja Malych Stopek) Polish charity organization, which helps the unborn child (and after they are born for that matter) and their mothers. It also promotes responsible parenthood and educates young people. Here's their webpage.
  • For Caritas that charity organization rather doesn't need to be introduced, it's one of the greatest catholic charities after all. I personally did the donation for its Polish section, and more precisely for homeless people.
  • For Poznan's March for Life - even though now conditions aren't very good to organize marches, the organization which stands behind this one also do it's own charity action related to unborn children and their mother. And who needs defence more than those most defenceless? Also why Poznan's one? Because It's where I live.
  • For Ordo Iuris - it's one of the best legal institutes and one of the few which stands on guard of most basics law. There are countless people, harassed and persecuted by neo-Marxists, which get more and more totalitarian. Ordo Iuris fights to defend those people. Defend the good laws. Defen family. Defend life and virtues. They also recently launched a new Academic institution - Collegium Intermarium - which is meant to be a counterweight to the others, which are long ago taken over by neo-Marxists.
  • For PCH24 and Piotr Skarga Institute of Christian Culture (original Poish name: Stowarzyszenie Kultury Chrzescijanskiej im. ks. Piotra Skargi) they are in the area of future and media the same what Ordo Iuris is in area of legislation. PCH24 (PCH stands for Polonia Christiania, which simply means "Christian Poland") is their internet television and journalistic portal. One of the few actually free media (not sponsored by some big corporations), which truly care for Poland and for maintaining Christian culture around the world. They are also one of most reliable sources of information. Here's their webpage, PCH24 webpage and PCH24 Youtube Channel.
  • For National Media (original Polish name: media narodowe) other internet TV, which I also highly value, they have many valuable materials, and I think it's important that they will be able to operate. They persist on donations, as they are also not sponsored by any big corporations, which let them be actually free and not bonded by political correctness. Their YouTube channel

I know there still are many other organizations which I could supper it was really hard to decide. And I hope that this example will encourage You to do a similar thing.

Also You can soon expect post about one long term "crypto experiment" which I recently started. So stay tuned!
